Together with the city of Leverkusen and Wupsi, we have decided to offer our service in Leverkusen free of charge for 30 minutes per rental from today on until presumably 30th April.
The return regulations at stations will continue to apply.
The possibility of transmission of the coronavirus via surfaces is estimated to be very low. Nevertheless, contact-intensive surfaces on our bikes are currently being cleaned with particular care by our service teams. In addition, all nextbike users should also follow the regular hygiene recommendations for proper coughing/sneezing and hand washing.
nextbike is Europe’s bike share leader. We are getting more and more people on our bikes by making them a natural part of urban mobility. As pioneers, we have been developing sustainable bike sharing systems for over 14 years. We are currently active in over 200 cities, including Berlin, Warsaw, Glasgow, Cologne, Budapest and Riga. Worldwide we offer nextbikes as a complement to bus & train, e.g. in the USA, New Zealand and India. Our business model is based on cooperations with cities, public transport providers, universities and consumer brands. Together we make our cities even more livable and bike sharing a bit smarter every day.
